By Melita KielyLondon’s Hotel Café Royal has partnered with Parfums Givenchy to create an exclusive cocktail collection celebrating L’Atelier de Givenchy fine fragrances.
London’s Hotel Cafe Royal and Givenchy Parfums have launched an exclusive cocktail rangeThe Atelier Collection of Cocktails is set to launch on 1 February and will be available in the hotel’s Green Bar until 31 March.
Crafted by Tiziano Tasso, mixologist at The Club at Café Royal, each of the seven cocktails has been developed to mirror the seven fragrances comprising the L’Atelier de Givenchy perfume collection.
The inspiration behind the cocktails comes from combining couture and fragrance with flavour, which gives each cocktail a “distinct colour and unique personality and taste, reflecting the key perfume notes which are uniqueu, universal and distinguished”.
Cocktails include the Cuir Blanc, a Martini-style cocktail made using Siberian pine needle extract to give a “woody and fresh taste,” and the Oud Flamboyant, which includes Japanese whisky and mandarin juice to produce a “bold and magnetic smoky wood” flavour.
Each cocktail is priced at £13.
Last year, The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Berlin launched the world’s first sensory bar combining cocktails with exclusive fragrances and aromas.
