New Absolut bottle celebrates Andy Warhol

Pernod Ricard has unveiled a new limited edition Absolut Vodka bottle to celebrate the brand’s collaboration with iconic artist Andy Warhol.

Absolut has released a new limited edition bottle dedicated to iconic artist Andy Warhol

Set to be released on 1 October, Absolut’s Andy Warhol Edition celebrates Warhol’s commissioned work which featured across the brand’s advertising campaigns in 1986.

The new edition transforms Warhol’s original artwork used in the campaign into a limited edition range of bottles.

“With this limited edition, we raise our glasses to honor the partnership between Absolut and Andy Warhol – a collaboration that resulted in one of the most iconic contemporary works of art,” said Nodjame Fouad, director of storytelling at Absolut.

To support the launch, Absolut will host a “nightlife experience” in collaboration with DJ A-Track and light artist Leif Elggren in attempt to channel the spirit of Andy Warhol, who died in 1987.

Since its collaboration with Warhol in 1986, Absolut has partnered with thousands of other artists from around the world.

Most recently, the brand partnered with Oscar nominated Australian film director Baz Luhrmann, famous for works such as Romeo and Juliet, to create a limited edition bottle called Absolut Oz.

A portion of the proceeds from the Absolut Andy Warhol Edition will go to The Andy Warhol Foundation.
