Teeling Irish Whiskey launches in the US

Teeling Whiskey is enhancing its presence overseas by launching in the US with distributor Infinium Spirits.

Teeling Irish Whiskey has announced a US distribution partnership with Infinium Spirits

The Irish whiskey bottling company has expressed hopes that this new distribution deal will allow it to capitalise on US consumers’ burgeoning thirst for Irish whiskey.

Sales of the spirit have grown over 400% since 2002, reaching sales of 2.2 million cases in 2012.

“Given the importance of the US for any Irish whiskey we took our time selecting our importer and believe we have found a like-minded family-owned partner to take advantage of the opportunity for our unique expressions of Irish whiskey,” said Jack Teeling, founder of the Teeling Whiskey Company.

“We look forward to working with the Infinium Spirits team and getting our Teeling whiskey on back bars and shelves in the US.”

In November last year, the company released a single grain whiskey to help “drive the expansion of the Irish whiskey category”.

The Teeling family has also recently announced plans to open their own Irish whiskey distillery.
