Aperol announces Manchester United sponsorship

The Italian liqueur brand owned by Gruppo Campari, is calling the sponsorship a “successful step” in its international expansion.
Aperol will become the club’s official global spirits partner from 1 January 2014 until the end of the 2016/17 football season.
Aperol branding will appear on the Old Trafford digital advertising boards during Premier League, FA Cup and Capital One home matches.
In addition, advertising will appear in match day programmes, on MUTV, the club’s official website and monthly magazine Inside United. The brand’s signature serve of the Aperol Spritz will also be available in Old Trafford’s hospitality areas.

Manchester United has a global fan base of 659 million supporters, having won 62 trophies over its 135-year history.
