Glenmorangie advances Cask Masters programme

Glenmorangie has taken another step in its Cask Masters initiative by asking fans to help design the launch photography for a new whisky.

Members of the public can submit their own photographs as part of Glenmorangie’s Cask Masters initiative

The Moët Hennessy-owned single malt has been seeking input from members of the public across the world at various stages of the creation of its new limited edition whisky.

Having voted for the whisky to be titled Taghta in September, the public now has the opportunity to upload photographs to three different online boards with varying themes, including: Chosen by Many; From Spain to Scotland; and Pioneering Innovation.

Photographer Kevin Mackintosh will then create three images inspired by these submissions, which will be put to an online vote.

“This really is a ground-breaking initiative with whisky aficionados having a genuine say in each step of crafting this exclusive Glenmorangie single malt,” said Dr Bill Lumsden, director of distilling and whisky creation at Glenmorangie.

“The public response has been outstanding and we are really grateful for all the excellent ideas which have gone into inspiring this programme.”

Photographs for this next stage of the Cask Masters programme should be uploaded to www.glenmorangie.com/caskmasters.

Images can be submitted until 2 February, Mackintosh then has until 19 February to produce the images, which will be put to a public vote until 9 March.
