Drinks by the Dram releases 2013 Whisky Advent Calendars

Drinks by the Dram, part of the Maverick Drinks portfolio, has released four whisky and gin advent calendars to help imbibers celebrate the countdown to Christmas 2013.

Following the success of the inaugural 2012 Whisky Advent Calendar and Ginvent Calendar, Drinks by the Dram has created four new, unique calendars each featuring 24 30ml bottles courtesy of Drinks by the Dram – the website’s miniatures collection.

This year’s calendar selection includes the Whisky Advent Calendar (£149.95), The Premium Whisky Advent Calendar (£249.95), the Ginvent Calendar (£99.95), and the Craft Ginvent Calendar (£109.95).

All four calendars have been updated this year with a fresh new design, including tasting notes and a flavour wheel for the Ginvent calendars.

The Whisky Calendars feature a selection of different drams from all over the world, including Scotch single malt, American Bourbon and rye, as well as other spirits from the US, Scotland and Japan.

The Ginvent Calendars features 24 gins from both UK and overseas distillers, while the Craft Ginvent Calendar, created in conjunction with the Gin Foundry, contains spirits that were all produced in craft, or small volume distilleries.

They are available to purchase now from UK-based online retailer Master of Malt, as well as Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Ocado and Firebox.

Full-sized versions of both the Whisky Advent Calendar and Ginvent Calendar will be on display at various locations in London during the Christmas season.
