Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul stars in Bushmills campaign

Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul is taking on a lead role in Bushmills Irish whiskey’s latest ‘Since Way Back’ marketing campaign.

Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman in the hit AMC television show, joins three of his friends in the program that will see the foursome share personal stories that have led him to his success.

The Since Way Back program was initiated in 2009 to celebrate close relationships between friends in New York.

Paul has worked with close friends Chris Paul Scardamalia, Philip Waller, and Dave Tom on various pieces of content documenting their relationship that will be released for the campaign throughout the year.

“These guys are my best friends on the planet,” said Paul. “Dave is also an actor who, in addition to living on my couch for three years, happens to be the clumsiest person on the planet; Phil, I met at a bar 10 years ago – he’s a documentary filmmaker and shark activist, splitting his time between Los Angeles and Hawaii; and Chris has always been there for me when I needed someone.

“I’m truly a fan of Bushmills, and to have all of these friends join me in this program, and to have Bushmills give us an outlet to share our crazy journey with fans, is an incredible moment for us. We can’t wait to get started.”

Paul is currently starring in the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad.
