Cocchi bottles its first miniatures

Italian apéritif producer Cocchi has tapped into the thirst for on-the-go formats with the launch of a range of miniatures.

The vermouth brand has packaged its aromatised wines in 50ml bottles.

“It’s the first time we’re releasing our range in a miniature format, which is also pretty rare in our category,” said Roberto Bava, Cocchi’s managing director.

Cocchi Americano, Cocchi Rosa, Cocchi Vermouth di Torino, Dopo Teatro and Barolo Teatro are available to purchase in a set of five, while di Torino is also sold individually.

With the introduction of this new format, the family-owned company aims to bring its expressions to more ‘socialising opportunities’.

“We hope this convenient format will encourage enthusiasts across the UK to explore our range further and create fun and flavourful Cocchi cocktails over the summer months,” Bava commented.

Cocchi’s miniatures will be sold at select retailers in the UK, priced at £23.50 (US$38) for the set of five and £4.35 (US$6) for a single miniature of Cocchi Vermouth di Torino.
