How to get a Pink Pigeon Pout

Pink Pigeon Rum has partnered wwith Noth London’s Wax Jambu cocktail bar to create a bespoke Valentine’s Day cocktail.

The drink, called “A Pink Peck (on the cheek)” has chilli as its main ingredient (other than the rum). Chilli is a supposed aphrodisiac (so long as you don’t eat too much of it in which case your allure might be somewhat diminished), and increases your heart rate, raises body temperature and makes lips swell to a “kissable plump pout”.

The cocktail is available at Wax Jambu from 7 – 14 February.

Recipe:

2 thumbs chilli

1 large strawberry

1 tsp Rose’s lemon and lime marmalade

37.5ml Pink Pigeon

25ml Martini Rosso

Muddle and shake the strawberry with the Rose’s Lemon and Lime.

Fine strain into a chilled coupette

Garnish with red chilli and a lime spiral
