Glen Grant 30YO lands in UK

Campari Group-owned Scotch whisky The Glen Grant has launched its oldest permanent expression, a 30-year-old, in the UK.

The Glasshouse Collection 30-year-old single malt completes the distillery’s permanent prestige range as the oldest and final expression.

The collection draws inspiration from James ‘The Major’ Grant, the pioneering forefather of The Glen Grant. The Major’s passion for innovation extended beyond whisky to include a Victorian-inspired glasshouse built in 1886. But instead of nurturing rare and delicate plants in a glasshouse, The Glen Grant’s warehouses mature spirits over decades.

Each whisky in the collection is said to represent a distinct moment in the passage of daylight.

The collection includes The Glen Grant 21-year-old, embodying the first light of dawn; the 25-year-old capturing the warmth of golden hour; and the new 30-year-old representing twilight, the embrace of moonlight.

All three expressions have been aged in American oak Bourbon barrels and oloroso Sherry casks.

Bottled at 48% ABV, the 30-year-old single malt displays notes of oak, nectarine, honey, and dried fruit.

First launched in select global markets in June 2024, the final expression in the collection became available in the UK on 28 April 2025 through retailers such as Hedonism Wines and Berry Bros & Rudd.

The Glen Grant 30-year-old has an RRP of £2,250 (US$3,000).

Earlier this year, the Campari Group-owned distillery launched the Splendours Collection with a 65-year-old single malt and debuted a new Exploration series exclusively for global travel retail.
