Entry deadline nears for The SB Awards 2025
By Georgie CollinsWith less than a month to go, the entry deadline for The Spirits Business Awards 2025 is fast approaching – have you put your hat into the ring yet?

Launched in 2019, The Spirits Business Awards were created to celebrate the most outstanding people, brands and innovations across the global spirits sector.
In 2024, the awards marked a major milestone with its first black-tie ceremony at London’s Underglobe Theatre.
Hosted by Strictly Come Dancing’s Claudia Winkleman, the event recognised winners during an elegant evening of celebration.
This year’s ceremony will return once again to The Underglobe on 13 November. English comedian host Rob Beckett will host the evening, announcing the winners live on stage.
The entry deadline is set for 27 June 2025, with awards divided into five main categories: Retail & Marketing, Sustainability & Innovation, Culture & Tourism, Product & Brand, and People.
For 2025, a new category has been added to the Brand of the Year award: Tonic & Mixer Brand of the Year.
Additional categories include Bar of the Year – awarded to Kiki Lounge in 2024 – and the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, which was bestowed upon House of Tequila’s master distiller Jesús Hernández last year. The awards are also seeking to recognise the best retailers, spanning e-commerce, specialist retailers, supermarkets, innovation in production, innovation in packaging, young achievers, and more.
Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business and chair of the awards judging, said: “The calibre of entries in 2024 was incredibly high, and we were delighted to reward so many talented individuals, brands and companies for their achievements.
“I’m looking forward to judging this year’s entries, and I’ve no doubt we’ll be seeing even more examples of excellence across the spirits industry.”
