Sexy Fish launches premium vodka

Caprice Holdings-owned Japanese restaurant and bar Sexy Fish has expanded its own-label brand with a premium vodka.

The vodka is available exclusively in the Sexy Fish’s three locations

Created in collaboration with Hawkridge Distillers in the UK’s North Wessex Downs, Sexy Fish Vodka is double-distilled, triple-filtered, and finished with a touch of honey.

Bottled at 42% ABV, the vodka offers a ‘rich and bold flavour profile’ designed to complement Sexy Fish’s Japanese-inspired menu, which includes both rich umami and subtle and light flavours.

The vodka is now available exclusively from three of the restaurant’s locations in London, Miami, and Manchester.

Xavier Landais, director of beverage at Caprice Holdings, said: “Vodka is our best-performing spirit, but – unfortunately with vodka it’s more often about the branding or ‘name’ than the liquid itself.

“At Sexy Fish, we focus on delivering the best 360-degree experience across dining and drinking, so creating our own vodka was a natural step. Distilled in England from the finest local grain, Sexy Fish Vodka offers bold, smooth flavour and a luminous label that makes it a striking centrepiece for any celebration – a nod to our Sexy Fish spirit.”

For the launch, the restaurants will serve a new signature cocktail, Sexy Fish Martini, featuring its namesake vodka and the restaurant’s Chichibu Japanese whisky.

The cocktail will be available throughout February for £10 (US$13) in celebration of the launch.

The house brand vodka will also be available to purchase in 50ml serves for £14 (US$17), and by the bottle to be enjoyed at the restaurants for £400 (US$498).

The new vodka joins Sexy Fish’s existing line-up of own-label spirits, including gin, made in collaboration Ki-No-Bi Gin and two single barrel Japanese whiskies crafted in partnership with Chichibu Distillery.

Last December, Caprice Holdings added a fourth Sexy Fish location in Dubai.
