Cygnet Gin to host St David’s Day celebrations in London
By Miona MadsenWelsh brand Cygnet Gin, co-founded by Katherine Jenkins OBE, is celebrating St David’s Day on 1 March at Quaglino’s in London.

Quaglino’s is a live music restaurant in Mayfair and has curated an evening of Welsh heritage celebration with Cygnet Gin and Jenkins.
The evening will feature menus and music reflecting the classical singer’s Welsh roots and will mark the launch of Cygnet Gin at the D&D London group’s restaurants. which includes Quaglino’s.
In collaboration with executive chef Jack Smith, Jenkins has designed a three-course menu that showcases classic Welsh ingredients and draws inspiration from her memories of growing up in the market town of Neath.
The food is complimented with cocktails that help showcase the gin brand’s two expressions, Welsh Dry Gin and Cygnet 22.
Available from St David’s Day (March 1), Quaglino’s will offer Cygnet Gin’s four exclusive cocktails throughout March and April.
Jenkins’ musical background will be at the heart of the celebration.

The evening will feature performances from the Idalia String Quartet, a group of students from London’s Royal Academy of Music, where the classical singer once studied.
As the evening unfolds, Quaglino’s resident party band, New Atlantics, will take the stage, playing the usual upbeat tunes, as well as Welsh classics.
Tickets for the three-course St David’s Day dinner and live music event on 1 March are priced at £80 (US$101) per person, with the option to add the four Cygnet Gin cocktail pairing for an additional £45 (US$57) per person.
Reservations are now open on Quaglino’s website.
In December 2024, Cygnet appointed ex-Campari global CEO Matteo Fantacchiotti as its partner and chairman.
Last month, the brand announced it had moved its production to the Penderyn Copperworks Distillery in Swansea.
