Żubrówka creates AI campaign
By Lauren BowesPolish vodka Żubrówka has partnered with Swedish studio Black Eye Media AB to release a video powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

The 45-second video ‘transforms’ urban scenery into a forest, ‘inviting viewers into a world full of magic and untamed energy’ as part of its ‘Go Wild’ campaign. Bison – the brand’s symbol – take over the city, which subsequently becomes green and full of vegetation.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “For more than 500 years, Żubrówka has been synonymous with freshness and innovation. In the ‘Go Wild’ campaign, we show how AI can become the key to unlocking endless layers of creativity. With this approach, we are setting new directions for our brand.”
The video spotlights Żubrówka’s signature serve, Apple Żu, which combines the brand’s flagship vodka with apple juice on ice. The creation of the serve kicks off the video’s action.
It will be aired in three markets: Japan, the UK and Germany.
Żubrówka recently committed six figures to its ‘Explore The Wild Side’ campaign, in partnership with distributor Paragon Brands.
The brand’s distinctive recipe, which flavours vodka with bison grass, dates to as early as 1534. ‘Żubrówka’ – meaning bison grass – was registered as a trademark in 1894.
Last year, the drinks business held a conference on how AI will impact the wine and spirits industry.
