According to legend, the ancient Aztecs called their gods’ home ‘Topan’, meaning ‘above us’. When lightning struck the agave, sweet sap flowed, which, when fermented, became intoxicating.
The indigenous natives turned the agave sap into ‘pulque’, an ancestor of Tequila and mezcal, believed to be a divine gift from the gods to mankind.

Topanito’s core range features expressions designed for mixing, from 40%-ABV blanco and reposado to Espadín mezcals and high-strength variants tailored towards craft cocktail enthusiasts. For sipping, the brand offers wild agave mezcals, such as Tepeztate, Tobalá, Madre Cuishe, and Salmiana, and the añejo Tequila, which will debut early this year.
