Tincup creates cocktail mixers with Alpine Start
American whiskey brand Tincup has partnered with on-the-go beverage company Alpine Start to launch a line of premium cocktail mixers.
Described as ‘the perfect stocking stuffer for whiskey lovers or outdoor adventurists’, the new cocktail mixers come in easy-to-use single-serve sachets.
To mix the cocktail, the brand says ‘just add Tincup whiskey and water’.
Designed by Alpine Start co-founder Matt Segal, a climber and long-time Tincup ambassador, the products were created from a desire for high-quality cocktails that are easy to prepare, mixology-worthy, and can be enjoyed in remote locations.
The Tincup x Alpine Start mixers, sold in five-per-container tubes, come in three flavours: Old Fashioned, Spiked Pear Cider, and Hot Toddy.
The Old Fashioned is said to combine rich flavours with a touch of sweetness, aromatic spices and natural bitters.
Spiked Cider combines ‘the essence of Colorado’ with pears and warm spices of cinnamon and cloves, while the Hot Toddy blends lemon, honey, cinnamon, and a hint of star anise for a warm cocktail.
The new cocktail mixers are now available at Rei stores nationwide and online in the US, as well as on Tincup’s website.
The cocktail packets retail for US$13.95 per five-sleeve tube.
In the 2024 American Whiskey Masters, the Proximo Spirits-owned whiskey brand took home four Gold medals.
