Gardenista creates restaurant-inspired bottled cocktails
The new Gardenista line of ready-to-serve (RTS) cocktails harnesses herb-forward garden flavours and uses a variety of base spirits.
The Gardenista line of bottled cocktails is made with vodka, Tequila, or Bourbon and blends garden flavours of herbs, fresh lime juice and ginger with a kick of jalapeño. Inspired by the mountains, the range draws influence from the Gardener cocktail, originally featured at Matsuhisa, a Japanese restaurant in Aspen, Colorado, and made with a purée of coriander, ginger, Serrano peppers and simple syrup, as well as lime juice and choice of spirit.
The bottled cocktails are designed to be shaken, poured, or spritzed and are bottled at 15% ABV. One bottle contains five servings, at 98 calories per serving.
Gardenista is independently owned and operated. Its founders are a team of spirits and hospitality experts who have launched spirits brands such as Effen Vodka and worked with companies including Constellation, Coors, Bacardi and PepsiCo.
“We’re so proud to have successfully taken this incredible experience straight from the bar to the shelf with Gardenista,” said director of marketing Jason Merz. “These delicious ready-to-serve high-quality premium cocktails have bold and unique flavours that are truly special. Our team can’t wait for consumers to experience and fall in love with Gardenista just like we did.”
The product line is priced between US$15 and US$17 and will be available in Illinois, Tennessee, and Colorado.
