Eau Claire Distillery names chief growth officer
By Ted SimmonsCanadian spirits producer Eau Claire Distillery has appointed Andrew Teubner as chief growth officer as it set its sights on global expansion.

Teubner will report to Eau Claire’s founder and CEO, David Farran, and will lead the brand’s expanded distribution and growth in international markets, focused primarily on the US and Europe.
“As a member of the Eau Claire board for almost two years, we’ve come to know Andy quite well and we recognised immediately the value of his decades of extensive experience building global brands,” Farran said. “Andy is exactly the strong leader we need to grow and expand our spirits into new markets, and we’re thrilled that he is joining the team full time.”
Teubner has more than 30 years of experience in the alcohol industry, working in the US and Asia with companies such as Joseph E Seagram & Sons, Patrón, Tequila Casa Dragones, and Ghost Tequila. Prior to joining Eau Claire, he was the chief revenue officer at Sire Spirits, and he remains a member of the Bosscal Mezcal board of directors.
“Eau Claire is not only a highly awarded distillery, through the company’s commitment to preserving and honouring the rich traditions of spirits production in Alberta, Eau Claire’s products are in many ways redefining the perception of Canadian spirits,” Teubner added.
“I’m proud to be a part of it, and I’m tremendously excited to introduce Eau Claire’s portfolio of high-quality, ‘best in class’ spirits to the US and other new global markets.”
Eau Claire Distillery is positioned in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies and makes whisky, gin, vodka, and other spirits. The company’s flagship product is Rupert’s Exceptional Canadian Whisky, bottled at 40% ABV and priced at US$50.
