BCB London confirms date and venue
The first London event in the Bar Convent (BCB) family will be held at Tobacco Dock in Wapping from 30 June to 1 July 2025.
The event was formerly named Imbibe Live but rebranded in July this year to ‘better position’ it in the roster of global bar trade fairs.
Bar Convent Berlin was the first event in the BCB family, followed by expansions to Brooklyn, Singapore and São Paulo.
Tobacco Dock is a Grade-I-listed building with ‘a special industrial charm that perfectly matches the unique flair of BCB’. Located in east London, it offers visitors an opportunity to visit some of the city’s best bars after the fair.
The London show has also appointed Jack Sotti as its brand ambassador.
Petra Lassahn, director of BCB, said: “We know how important it is to have someone on the team who is part of the industry and knows and lives in the city where the trade fair takes place. We are therefore delighted to have Jack Sotti on board as brand ambassador for BCB London.”
Sotti most recently opened Archive & Myth in the city. He is also a presenter on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch and a partner at Renais Gin.
He added: “I am delighted to be part of the team. BCB is a big name in the industry and I’m honoured to be actively involved in bringing BCB to London as a brand ambassador.
“The bar and drinks scene in the UK and Ireland has a lot to offer and it’s high time it got the trade show it deserves.”
Earlier this week, it was revealed that 15,114 visitors from 87 countries attended the Berlin trade fair.
