Gin Ting set for global expansion
By Miona MadsenEnglish brand Gin Ting has partnered with Cheshire-based exporter Cheers Global Drinks on an exclusive distribution agreement.

Commenting on the agreement, Kris Hindley, founder of Gin Ting, said: “This is a hugely exciting chapter in the Gin Ting story. Cheers Global has seen the international potential of our incredible products, and we are keen to see how far we can take our export journey.”
The story of the gin and rum brand began in 2015 when Kris and Louise Hindley were on holiday in Cornwall, enjoying a gin and tonic. The idea came to them to create a range of fruit-infused spirits.
Gin Ting launched three years later, in 2018, offering spirits with natural fruit flavours free from added sugars.
Their signature products are Gin Ting Passionfruit, Mango & Elderflower, and Rum Ting Pineapple, Mango & Guava. Both expressions are available through online retailers such as Amazon and Master of Malt, and can also be found in popular bars and restaurants like JD Wetherspoons.
Cheers Global will export the brand’s full range including 70oml bottles and 250ml ready-to-drink (RTD) cans.
Craig Johnstone, founder and managing director of Cheers Global, added: “We’re thrilled to represent such a dynamic brand. Gin Ting’s rising popularity and unique flavour profiles bring something fresh, fun, and vibrant to the market — qualities that will resonate globally.”
Launched in 2024 by FMCG and sales expert Craig Johnstone, Cheers Global specialises in helping drinks brands gain a worldwide presence.
In 2021, Gin Ting released its first commercial after securing £20,000 (US$27,400) of TV advertising through Sky’s SME100 scheme.
