Brown-Forman appoints GTR director
Nick Mogford has been appointed vice president director of global travel retail (GTR) at Brown-Forman.
He replaced David Rodiek, who served in the role for more than two years. Rodiek is now pursuing opportunities outside Brown-Forman after almost 19 years with the firm.
On 1 August, Mogford left the role of vice president and international key account director, to which he was appointed in 2020. He joined the firm in 2012 and has taken on a variety of leadership roles.
He will now lead and coordinate the firm’s efforts with key international accounts across Europe and beyond.
“We are delighted to welcome Nick back to our global travel retail business,” said Michael Masick, president of the Emerging International division. “His long-term experience in this important channel and extensive business acumen position him well to further elevate our GTR growth journey.”
The appointment follows a series of senior leadership changes at Brown-Forman, with Diane Nguyen taking over as chief people, places and communications officer in June and Masick being appointed to his role in July.
Brown-Forman’s most recent financial results were stagnant, with net sales falling by 1% to US$4.2 billion in the year ending 30 April 2024. Shares fell by 3% following the announcement.
