The latest milestone listing is part of the brand’s ambitious growth plans to enhance its presence.

With the listing, the vodka brand continues strengthening its position in the premium spirits market by offering ‘unique and culturally rich’ vodka options that stand out in a competitive landscape.

“Securing this listing with Master of Malt is a significant milestone in our ambitious growth plan, allowing us to expand our award-winning vodka offerings directly to consumers,” said Mohit Singh, founder of Desi Daru.

The brand gains a significant platform through the Master of Malt listing, reaching a broader audience of spirits enthusiasts.

“Vodka is a hugely exciting category at the moment, and when you add the innovation we are seeing in the Indian spirits market, it means we will start to witness some really interesting things here in the UK – one of these being Desi Daru. Master of Malt is looking forward to seeing where their journey goes,” commented Master of Malt.

Desi Daru Vodka is owned by Singh and Aneet Kaur, a husband-and-wife team, and has rapidly gained acclaim since its launch in May 2023.

The vodka brand offers two varieties: Alphonso Mango Vodka and Original Vodka. Both expressions are now available through Master of Malt at £37 (US$48) for a 700ml bottle.

Desi Daru’s Mango expression was named the Vodka Taste Master last year and picked up four other Master awards during The Vodka Masters 2023.

Earlier this month, Desi Daru announced it aims to raise £1 million (US$1.2m) to aid UK expansion and international distribution.
