Bushmills collaborates with golf brand Malbon

The capsule collection from Bushmills and Malbon features limited edition golf apparel and a custom leather flask.

The Bushmills x Malbon capsule collection includes hats, T-shirts, a crewneck sweatshirt and more

Whiskey-minded golfers have some new gear to sport thanks to a capsule collection from Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Malbon Golf. The collection includes two hats, a crewneck sweatshirt, T-shirts, and the first flask ever offered by Malbon.

“Just as we at Malbon are always looking to push the envelope when it comes to golf apparel, Bushmills has also been doing its own thing in the whiskey space since 1608,” said Stephen Malbon, founder of Malbon Golf. “It’s with that spirit in mind that we created this collection for anyone who charts their own course, on or off the green.”

The custom leather flask has space to house both whiskey and golf tees, and easily snaps onto a golf bag. It was inspired by and created for ‘a new generation of golfers’ and is listed for US$68. At the time of publication, the flask had already sold out.

Two hats are available: an embroidered bucket hat listed for US$68, and an unstructured snapback for US$48.

On the apparel side, screenprinted T-shirts are available in black and white for US$68, while a crewneck sweatshirt co-branded with the Malbon and Bushmills logo goes for US$148.

The collection melds the worlds of golf and whiskey, celebrating an end-of-round drink at the 19th hole or clubhouse bar. To commemorate, Bushmills has released a golf-ready cocktail called the Malbon Mule, made with equal parts Bushmills Black Bush, ginger beer, and lemonade.

The capsule collection, which goes on sale on 18 July, comes just a few months after American single malt brand Wolves teamed up with sportswear brand Undefeated for a series of limited edition lifestyle items.
