ElevenTrade launches Neit whiskey in Italy
By Miona MadsenNeit Irish Whiskey has partnered with ElevenTrade on an exclusive distribution deal to expand the brand’s presence in Italy.
ElevenTrade, a leading distributor in the Italian spirits market, has become the sole distributor of Neit’s full range of premium Irish whiskeys in Italy.
The partnership marks a significant step for the ‘rapidly growing Irish whiskey brand’ as it seeks to capture the discerning tastes of Italian whiskey enthusiasts and expand its global footprint.
“Neit is excited to embark on this journey with ElevenTrade, whose expertise in the Italian market is unparalleled,” said Francesco Fracassi, co-founder of Neit. “Italy’s appreciation for premium spirits aligns perfectly with our commitment to quality and craftsmanship, making this partnership a natural fit for our expansion strategy.”
The partnership will include a series of marketing initiatives, including exclusive tasting events, strategic point-of-sale displays, and extensive promotional activities to introduce Neit’s unique flavours to Italian consumers.
The whiskey range includes three expressions: an Irish single malt, a single grain and a blend.
Its single malt, Madeira Mystery, is a limited release that has been aged for 15 years in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in Madeira casks for 18 months.
Mellow Spice is a 12-year-old single grain whiskey that was finished in a Moscatel cask for two years, creating notes of herbs, orange zest, toffee and vanilla.
The blend, Toffee Dream, is made with 90% special blend and 10% grain whiskey and offers ‘a rich and creamy taste in the mouth, featuring layers of peppered pear, subtle creamy vanilla and caramel-laden oak’.
Neit Irish whiskey, named after the Irish god of war, was created by brothers Francesco and Luca Fracassi, with Angelica Siciliani Fendi as an advisor.
