Jack Daniel’s debuts ginger ale RTD

The Jack & Ginger Ale canned cocktail joins a bountiful lineup of beverages from the Tennessee distilling giant.

Jack & Ginger Ale comes nearly two years after the Tennessee whiskey brand first partnered with Coca-Cola to create a canned cocktail

The latest addition to Jack Daniel’s lineup of ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails, Jack & Ginger Ale, is available in the US from 14 March and clocks in at 7% ABV. A single 355ml can is priced at US$3.50 while a four-pack will cost US$13.

“On the heels of our popular Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola canned cocktail release, we’re thrilled to unveil yet another of the world’s most popular bar calls in an easy-to-drink and convenient format,” said Dallas Cheatham, Jack Daniel’s RTD brand director.

“We’re excited to continue to expand in what is the fastest growing spirits category and offer our friends a new RTD we believe is perfect for any occasion.”

The Jack & Ginger Ale joins Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola, Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, and Jack Honey & Lemonade in the brand’s RTD lineup. Jack first released its collaborative Coca-Cola canned cocktail in the US in June 2022, later bringing it to Great Britain in March 2023. The Tennessee distiller previously offered a Jack and cola RTD using a non-descript soda.

In December 2023, Brown-Forman, which owns Jack Daniel’s, announced that it was outsourcing RTD production and repurposing its Pinnacle warehouse. The brand’s Country Cocktails range, which includes Black Jack Cola, Cherry Limeade and Berry Punch, was the seventh best-selling RTD brand in the world in 2022, moving 3.9 million nine-litre cases.

Earlier this month, Brown-Forman forecasted flat fiscal year sales, with Jack Daniel’s RTD range increasing by 1%.
