Available in a trio of flavours – Elderflower, Raspberry, and Lime & Mint – the vodka-based spritzes are made in collaboration with British soft drinks brand Bottlegreen and combine its cordials with Edwards 1902’s English vodka.

Emma Hamilton, co-founder of Edwards 1902, said: “This exciting collaboration brings together not only the finest flavours and ingredients into a new RTD format, but celebrates a fantastic partnership between our two British brands, with a shared passion for quality and heritage.”

Each expression sits at 5% ABV and contains less than 150 calories. The range will retail from April for £2.50 (US$3.20) per 250ml can.

The cans will also be supported over summer with a social, influencer and sampling campaign.

Sarah Lawson, head of marketing at Bottlegreen, added: “We are thrilled to unveil this collaboration between Bottlegreen and Edwards 1902.

“Our shared passion for quality and superior taste has culminated in a range of vodka spritz cans that offer a refreshing alternative to the rest of the ready-to-drink can market. We look forward to introducing this new chapter to the world of beverages.”

Edwards 1902 vodka is produced at Elsham Wold Distillery in Lincolnshire and was founded in 2018 when three families came together with a mission to create premium spirits from natural, locally produced ingredients.

Favoured for being both convenient and flavourful, data from IWSR Drinks Market Analysis showed the RTD category is expected to post a double-digit increase (12%) between 2022 and 2027 across 10 markets.
