RuPaul extends cocktail line
By Lauren BowesWorld of Wonder and RuPaul, the creators of TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race, have added new products to their line of premium ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails and mocktails.
The House Of Love range first launched in 2022 with five flavours, two of which were non-alcoholic.
The brand has now added two new 100-calorie cocktails – Vodka Soda Citrus and Passion Fruit Margarita – and a 0% ABV mocktail, Totally Tropical.
The two new alcoholic options have an ABV of 4%, lower than its debut range, with the brand citing ‘growing demands driven by Gen Z and millennial consumers’. The no-and-low market is now worth US$13 billion, according to data from IWSR Drinks Market Analysis, while consumer demand for canned cocktails is up 20%.
“We are pleased as punch to provide even more delicious offerings from the House Of Love,” said World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato.
“After selling out the product at DragCon LA, we wanted to meet the demand for both mocktails and lower-calorie options. House Of Love pairs best with season 16 of RuPaul’s Drag Race – cheers!”
The launches coincide with the 16th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, and House Of Love will debut the flavours at viewing parties and bars in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Chicago and Las Vegas.
