Rampf took up the position on 1 January 2024. As managing director of Borco, he will be tasked with looking after the German market and the Adriatic region.

“I am looking forward to my new role within the Stock Spirits Group,” Rampf said. “In the coming months, we will be investing more in our existing brands and also launching exciting products on the market.”

Stock Spirits Group has more than 140 years of experience in the distilled drinks industry. Today, the company is active in more than 50 countries.

It aims to become one of the leading companies for mainstream spirits in Europe, and intends to focus on brands such as Sierra Tequila, Żołądkowa, Clan Campbell and Finsbury Gin.

Jean-Christophe Coutures, CEO of Stock Spirits Group, said: “Nicolas Rampf brings his extensive experience from the spirits industry and beyond, and will undoubtedly strengthen our company in the implementation of our strategy.

“We look forward to working with Nicolas Rampf and welcome him to the Stock Spirits Group.”

Stock Spirits Group, headquartered in Poland, acquired German firm Borco, which owned Sierra Tequila, for an undisclosed sum in 2023.

Rampf added: “In addition to strengthening existing partnerships, it is very important to us to continue the global expansion of the brand Sierra Tequila de México. The merger of Borco and SSG [Stock Spirits Group] will also remain in focus.

“We and the entire spirits industry have an exciting journey ahead of us. I look forward to working with all my colleagues across the group to rethink and proactively address the market.”
