LeBron James takes Tequila to UK
Lobos 1707 Tequila & Mezcal, the ultra-premium agave spirit brand backed by basketball player LeBron James, is now available in Selfridges department stores.
James invested in the brand in 2020, as part of the Main Street Advisors’ (MSA) group. The brand launched in the US in the same year.
Lobos 1707 launched in Canada in 2022 and in Dubai earlier this year.
“It’s exciting to see our pack continue to grow as we expand our footprint around the world,” said James. “We can’t wait for people in the UK and all over to taste our best-in-class liquid.”
Lobos 1707’s reposado, joven and extra añejo expressions will retail at £70 (US$88), £65 (US$81) and £180 (US$225) respectively.
Lobos 1707 is made with 100% Blue Weber agave and is harvested, distilled and bottled in Jalisco, Mexico. The liquid is aged in American white oak barrels and finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry barrels.

Lobos 1707 Extra Añejo Tequila won a Master award at The Tequila & Mezcal Masters 2022, while its reposado Tequila and its Mezcal Artesenal both won Gold.
