The platform will help smaller drinks brands enter the UK market by offering access to consumers and trade accounts.

DrinksOne was founded in April 2023 by Nick Worthington, Mike Beavan, David Proctor and James Shelbourne. The agency offers distribution to new-to-market brands, global advisory services and, now, an import and sales solution for brands looking to enter the UK, the world’s third-largest e-commerce market.

“DrinksOne is looking to disrupt the drinks industry distribution status quo by modernising traditional processes, empowering everyone from producer to bartenders to consumers in the process,” the founders said in a joint statement. “By streamlining distribution channels with efficient tech-based solutions, we essentially establish a solution where everyone wins, and we get to introduce some of the most exciting and innovative new brands to the world.”

The site, which will allow brands to set their own pricing, will also offer advertising space and in-depth consumer insights. In addition, DrinksOne will feature brands at quarterly tasting events, and can provide design services and access to sales and marketing teams.

Current DrinksOne brands include Heavensake, Ish Non-Alcoholic Wines and Spirits, Ocean Beer, Vellamo Water, Yaguara Cachaça, Crafty Distillery, Equiano Rum, Neurita Tequila, Altamura Distilleries, The Emissary Prosecco, Why Not Sodas and Balearic Spirits.

DrinksOne held its inaugural showcase on 19 October, during London’s Cocktail Week. Additional London events are being planned for April and October 2024, with a Manchester Showcase set for June 2024.
