GCA highlights value of trade fairs
By Rupert HohwielerGlass manufacturer GCA recently attended the 28th Eurasia Packaging Fair in Tüyap, Istanbul, between 11-14 October, highlighting the advantages companies have in attending trade shows.
Of the show’s importance, GCA’s general manager, Dr Abdullah Gayret, said: “We had the opportunity to meet with many business partners from Türkiye and abroad face-to-face, which gave us the opportunity to keep our finger on the pulse of the sector.”
GCA could be found at booth 522 in the fifth hall and presented visitors both solutions for the packaging industry and showcased its ‘innovative’ products.
”Fairs play an extremely critical role in terms of both following global trends and seeing new products and technologies firsthand, especially in an area where continuous innovations and technological developments are experienced, such as the packaging sector,’’ Gayret continued.
”Eurasia Packaging Fair offers us not only the opportunity to introduce new technologies and designs, but also the chance to communicate directly with our customers and receive feedback.’’
GCA describes itself as ‘one of the pioneers of the glass packaging industry in Türkiye’ and has more than 30 years of expertise and experience in table glassware production.
Quality, innovation and sustainability are key factors in GCA’s production model and in 2023, Gayret said they would “focus on spirits, one of the leading subcategories of the food and beverage industry, and produce glass bottles and jars that exceed world standards.
”By offering the unique properties of flint glass in a wide range from basic products such as water to fruit juices, we provide our business partners with the opportunity to offer superior quality and aesthetics.
”We, as GCA, will continue to take part in fairs both at home and abroad, and offer innovations to the sector in the coming years,’’ he concluded.
Recently, we spoke with Gayret on what it takes to operate a successful glass manufacturing business.
