Chivas creates luxury knitwear
Blended Scotch whisky Chivas Regal has collaborated with luxury knitwear brand AGR to create a three-piece capsule collection.
The line aims to showcase the whisky brand’s goal to ‘raise the game’ by uniting and celebrating football communities via cultural moments and collaborations.
The Chivas x AGR range is set to launch on Wednesday 16 August.
Alicia Robinson, founder and designer of AGR, said: “Football kits are famously bold and colourful, which is something that has always been at the heart of my designs, so collaborating with Chivas on a collection that breaks boundaries by giving football culture a modern twist was a no-brainer.
“This three-piece collection is all about bringing people together through a shared passion and allowing them to express their love of the game through their own unique style.”
The collection has been made mostly from upcycling deadstock fabrics from vintage football jerseys.
The collection builds on Chivas Regal’s history with football, including a global partnership with Manchester United, which saw the Pernod Ricard-owned brand become one of the first sponsors of the women’s first team.
Chivas Brothers, the Scotch whisky arm of Pernod Ricard, made its carbon reduction technology available to all whisky producers in July.
