Mataroa Gin features at Roma Bar Show
Greek brand Mataroa Mediterranean Dry Gin is hosting four bartender guest shifts at Italy-based Roma Bar Show.
Mataroa has teamed up with handmade apron brand Pukka Aprons for the guest shifts at international bar and beverage trade fair Roma Bar Show (29-30 May), held at the Palazzo dei Congressi conference centre.
Guest shifts will take place at stand K01, Piazzale Kennedy, and feature bartenders from Italy-based venues Depero Club (Rieti) and Jeffer Cocktails & Friends (Pisa).
Yesterday (29 May) saw Christian de Luca from The Court bar in Rome perform a shift, as well as Michelangelo Bruno from Rome’s Club Derrière.
Today (30 May), Giuseppe Bottone from Jeffer will host a shift between 2pm-3pm (CEST). This will be followed by a shift from Antonio Tittoni from Depero Club between 3pm-4pm.
The brand recently partnered with Athens-based bar Baba Au Rum as part of a guest shift on 24 May.
Mataroa claims to be the number-one-selling Greek premium gin brand in its home country.
Twelve botanicals, herbs and spices make up the gin’s ingredients list.
Mataroa is created at the Melissanidi Distillery in northern Greece.
In September 2022, the brand teamed up with designer Themis Zouganeli to create a limited edition bottle.
In more gin news, actor and film producer Brad Pitt recently launched his first gin: The Gardener Gin.
