Mark Anthony Brands enters travel retail
White Claw owner Mark Anthony Brands has secured a global distribution partnership for its spirits portfolio with travel retail operator B&S.
In global travel retail, B&S will represent Mark Anthony Brands’ new White Claw Premium Vodka, Irish whiskey and gin maker Glendalough Distillery, and Canadian whisky Bearface.
Enda O’Sullivan, vice-president of spirits at Mark Anthony Brands, said: “We are thrilled to further enhance our ambitious global distribution strategy with B&S and bring our incredible, premium spirits portfolio to new audiences and consumers.
“B&S are a world-class distribution partner with a network of duty free retailers serving millions of travellers daily around the world, and we look forward to working with the team.”
White Claw Premium Vodka, described as the ‘world’s first’ triple wave filtered vodka, was launched in the US in March. It marked the brand’s first move outside of the hard seltzer category.
“We are hugely excited for the potential of Mark Anthony Brands International in the global retail channel, kicking off with the launch of White Claw Premium Vodka in major USA airports over the coming months,” O’Sullivan said.
As part of the ‘strategic’ deal, B&S will present Mark Anthony Brands’ products at the Tax Free World Association’s (TFWA) conferences in Singapore and Cannes this year. The company’s products were showcased at the IAADFS Summit of the Americas show in Florida, US, earlier this month.
Maurice Riegel, managing director at B&S, added: “With our shared passion for excellence and digital innovation we are eager to unlock Mark Anthony Brand International’s full potential within the travel retail market, setting new industry benchmarks.”
This year, Glendalough revealed a new bottle design for its gin range, created in homage to the valley of Glendalough in Ireland and the people behind its gin production.
