Hayman’s debuts London Light ‘gin’

English gin producer Hayman’s has unveiled a new low-alcohol ‘spirit’, called London Light.

The low-ABV distilled ‘spirit’ clocks in 12.5% ABV

The 12.5% ABV liquid has been created to give consumers a ‘new way’ of enjoying a low-alcohol ‘gin’ and tonic.

Co-owner James Hayman commented: “Hayman’s London Light is an evolution of our Small Gin innovation, and comes in a 700ml bottle.

“It is delightfully smooth, and when served with chilled tonic and a twist of lemon it doesn’t compromise on the taste of a regular G&T, even though it has 70% less alcohol.”

London Light is said to be ‘refreshingly citrussy’, with notes of piney juniper.

“Whilst many focus on ‘no-alcohol’, we are committed to making distilled spirits that retain the flavour of gin,” continued Hayman.

“It is perfectly timed as recent research shows that four in five bars are planning to increase their low-alcohol range in 2023 to meet the needs of the consumer who wants to drink in moderation.”

Hayman’s London Light joins the brand’s portfolio of gins, which is composed of London Dry gin, Old Tom gin, as well as the navy strength Royal Dock Gin, an Exotic Citrus expression, and two sloe gin variations.

It is currently available to purchase through www.haymansgin.com for an RRP of £21 (US$25.60).
