Bella Apertini gains Tesco and Amazon listings
Aperitivo brand Bella Apertini has secured a nationwide listing with UK supermarket Tesco and online distribution through Amazon.
Produced by UK-based Intercontinental Brands, Bella Apertini has also gained listings in wholesalers including Molson Coors, HB Clark, Inverarity Morton and Dunns Food & Drinks.
The new distribution deals follow the brand’s recent national listing with UK supermarket Morrisons.
Priced at RRP £6.99 (US$8) per 700ml bottle, Bella Apertini is described as a ‘budget-friendly’ alternative to popular Spritz ingredients, such as Aperol.
The expression is made with bitter, sweet orange and herbal flavours. It is recommended mixed with soda and Prosecco to create a Spritz.
Clare Gibson, marketing director at Intercontinental Brands, said: “This zesty and bright orange apéritif is the perfect serve for summer celebrations. The Spritz is one of the best-selling cocktails globally, which is why we wanted to roll out widely across the UK so everyone can have a taste.
“Bella Apertini can get everyone and anyone ready for Spritz season this summer – it’s light and refreshing, perfect for the warmer weather. With customer demand for such serves continuously growing, it’s a must-stock.”
Intercontinental Brands recently tapped into the trend for Passion Fruit Martinis with the release of its Apollo liqueur.
The company’s portfolio includes Palm Beach Rum Liqueurs, Hawksbill spiced rum and Carthy & Black cream liqueurs, among others.
Intercontinental Brands’ main focus is on producing lower-ABV, value alternatives to major international brands. The firm’s products are made at its manufacturing site in Middlesbrough.
