Heaven Hill creates Black Velvet Peach
By Alice BrookerFamily-owned Heaven Hill Brands has unveiled a peach-flavoured iteration of its Black Velvet Canadian whisky.

Heaven Hill completed its acquisition of Black Velvet Canadian whisky from Constellation Brands in 2019 for US$266 million.
Black Velvet is the second biggest-selling Canadian whisky in the world, according to Heaven Hill Brands.
Black Velvet Peach is the latest addition to the brand’s portfolio of flavoured whiskies, which includes Black Velvet Apple and Toasted Caramel.
The peach-flavoured whisky is now available across the US.
“Whether you’re tasting Black Velvet for the first time, or you’re a loyal fan of the brand, we feel confident Peach will be a hit with consumers,” said Molly Vincent, Heaven Hill senior brand manager. “We’re excited to continue to expand upon our flavour offerings – and with one of our hottest summers coming to a close, we feel this refreshing addition couldn’t have come at a better time.”
The Black Velvet Peach is bottled at 35% ABV, and will be available in 50ml, 750ml, and 1.75-litre bottles, with an RRP of US$10.99 for the 750ml.
The independent spirits producer recently named two third-generation family members, Kate Latts and Allan Latts, as co-presidents of the company. The duo will assume the roles of co-presidents from 1 September 2022.
Plus, the brand has revealed plans to open a US$135 million whiskey distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, in the US, by 2024. The new state-of-the-art distillery will increase the brand’s distilling capacity, and mark Heaven Hill’s return to distilling in Bardstown.
