Adam Handling’s Eve Bar appoints bar manager
Acclaimed chef Adam Handling has promoted Marco Grisafi to the role of bar manager at his flagship London venue Eve Bar.
Grisafi, who was previously head bartender, will now oversee the development of the bar’s ‘boundary-pushing’ drinks menu.
The new menu features cocktails that were inspired by the kitchen above the bar, Frog by Adam Handling, and utilising ingredients that would otherwise go to waste.
Grisafi said: “I’m honoured to take on this new role and I can’t wait to get started on achieving the ambitious goals we have for Eve Bar.
“Thank you to all the people who work alongside me, I am very proud to be part of this incredible team.”
Grisafi hails from a small town to the north of Venice in Italy. His first venture into the hospitality industry was as a teenager.
At the age of 25, Grisafi stepped into bartending full time, working at a number of bars across his homeland.
After honing his craft in Lignano Sabbiadoro in northeast Italy, where he met a mentor who gave him the foundations to make cocktails, Grisafi moved to London, UK, in 2019 to pursue a career in bartending. At the end of 2019, he had landed a role at Eve Bar.
