Arby’s creates fry-flavoured vodkas
By Kate MalczewskiAmerican fast food chain Arby’s has revealed plans to release vodkas inspired by its chips.

Arby’s teamed up with Minneapolis-based Tattersall Distilling to create two bottlings: Curly Fry Vodka and Crinkle Fry Vodka.
Both are made from potato-based spirit, and aim to ‘preserve’ the flavours of their namesake menu items. The Curly Fry Vodka is distilled with the seasonings used in Arby’s curly fries, including cayenne, paprika, onion and garlic, while the Crinkle Fry Vodka is made with kosher salt and sugar.
“Though we’ve mastered the art of drive-through fries, we wanted to take it one step further by making them 80 proof,” said Patrick Schwing, the company’s chief marketing officer.
The fast food chain recommends using the spirits in a Bloody Mary, and has partnered with chef Justin Sutherland to create two versions of the drink using Arby’s items such as Horsey sauce. The recipes will be showcased on the the restaurant’s social media pages.
Limited quantities of Arby’s flavoured vodkas will become available on 18 November at arbysvodka.com, priced at US$59.99 per bottle. A second batch will be released on 22 November.
