The multi-year partnership between Aviation Gin and NFL will begin in 2022.

It will feature digital, social and broadcast content, as well as tastings in US-based bars, restaurants and stores selling Aviation Gin.

The collaboration also coincides with the return of NFL to London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in October.

On Sunday 10 October, the Atlanta Falcons will play the New York Jets in the north London arena, and the Jackson Jaguars will compete against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday 17 October. Both games kick off at 2.30pm BST.

Crafted in Portland, Oregon, Aviation Gin is described as ‘smooth’,  with citrus and floral notes in addition to classic juniper.

The brand recently saw a limited edition revamp to a select number of bottlings to celebrate its partner Wrexham Association Football Club (AFC)’s new away-game shirts.

Reynolds is a co-owner of Wrexham AFC along with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney, whose favourite NFL team – the Philadelphia Eagles – also play in the limited edition bottle’s shade of green.

Last year, Diageo bought Davos Brands, which co-owned Aviation Gin with Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, in a deal worth up to US$610 million.

The standard edition of the 42% ABV gin can be purchased for RRP £28 (US$37.78) per 700ml bottle, from Amazon, Master of Malt and UK supermarkets.

Reynolds’ wife, actress Blake Lively, recently launched a new range of low-calorie mixers for spirits, called Betty Buzz.
