UK label manufacturer The Label Makers has produced a new design for English vodka brand Royal Mash.
Royal Mash has debuted a new label for its potato vodka which showcases the producer’s royal history.
The potato vodka brand’s founders, Peter Le Fol du Taillis and Rachel de Caen, tapped Kirsty Holton at Sip Studio in Manchester to design the label and The Label Makers to manufacture it, aiming for a finished product that evokes ‘a superior presence and character’.
De Caen said: “We absolutely love the labels. This is the first time that we have worked with The Label Makers following a glowing recommendation. We will be using them for every vintage from now on!”
Kevin Lyons, sales director of The Label Makers, added: “Our highly skilled team has a wealth of experience in the premium drinks market and they used this knowledge to ensure that Rachel’s expectations were fully met. The finished product looks stunning.”
The central theme of the label is based on the Royal Mash emblem – the crest of the Le Fol family, who were ennobled by Henry IV in 1594 – which was reproduced in royal-blue hot foil.
The labels were digitally printed using water resistant paper, allowing for the bottle to be served chilled or on ice.
Royal Mash Vodka Vintage 2020 secured a Gold in this year’s Drinks Business and Spirits Business Spring Blind Tasting.
The labels were produced for the 50ml, 200ml and 700/750ml for both the UK and export markets.
