Teeling visitor centre to reopen to public

Dublin-based Teeling Whiskey Distillery will reopen its visitor centre on 29 June after being temporarily closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Teeling Distillery will reopen for tours at the end of June 2020

Teeling Whiskey Distillery closed to members of the public on 12 March in order to protect both visitors and staff from the spread of Covid-19.

From 29 June, the distillery and visitor centre will be operating seven days a week and offering tours of the site.

To mark the occasion, the first 500 visitors to tour the distillery and visitor centre will receive a ‘special thank you gift’.

Teeling will also be accepting private family group bookings and tastings in the Finishing Room private venue space.

The distillery gift shop and Phoenix Café are both now open to the public.

To ensure tours take place in accordance with health and safety guidelines, tours will operate under designated time slots every 30 minutes, with a maximum of 10 people per tour group.

There will be regular cleaning and disinfecting throughout the distillery, visitor centre and café, and sanitising stations will be present at all entries, exits, at the ticket desk and throughout the visitor centre.

Staff will be “practising and encouraging” physical distancing measures at all times, and all payments will be cashless to limit contact, with all staff positioned behind protective windows.
