ABG brings Kah Tequila distribution in-house

Luxembourg-based Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has brought the global distribution and marketing of its Kah Tequila brand in-house.

From April 2020, ABG will manage Kah Tequila across all regions. The company took over full ownership of the brand from SPI Group in December 2016.

“Adding Kah to our ever-growing Tequila portfolio, reinforcing Tequila brands such as Rooster Rojo and Don Camillo, allows us to offer a pyramid of solutions in every market,” said Pepijn Janssens, chief marketing officer at ABG.

“Therefore, we are looking forward to welcoming this award-winning Tequila to our brand family.”

In addition, the company has launched a new bottle design for the US market this year. Instead of its skull form, Kah will be packaged in a rectangular-shaped bottle.

“We have developed a new bottle for the USA market and plan to launch it during 2020,” said Janssens.

“Kah Tequila will keep paying reverence and honour to Mexico and its people and begins its journey in our own Tequila distillery, Fabrica de Tequilas Finos, where each bottle is hand-crafted.”

The Kah Tequila range comes in four variants: Blanco, Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo.
