Douglas Laing & Co has bottled a 22-year-old Invergordon single grain whisky

Family-owned Douglas Laing & Co has released 155 bottles of the single cask Invergordon 22 Years Old Single Grain whisky at a natural cask strength of 48.9% ABV.

Bottled without colouring or chill-filtration, the Scotch whisky is available exclusively from DouglasLaing.com priced at £85 (US$100) per 700ml bottle.

Director of whisky and third generation in the family business, Cara Laing, said: “Our Old Particular Spring bottling celebrates the hope and green shoots that springtime brings.

“With notes of cinnamon and chocolate, we selected this single cask for bottling many months ago on the basis it would be the perfect accompaniment to some Easter chocolate indulgences. It now seems particularly fitting that it also marks the coming of spring and hopefully brighter days.”

The single grain whisky is bottled with a label featuring springtime flowers, bees and rabbits. It is packaged in a wooden gift box.
