Vinexpo to take Be Spirits concept across Paris

With the inaugural Vinexpo Paris event around the corner, the wine and spirits trade show has revealed more details about its Be Spirits concept.

An artist’s impression of the Infinite Bar

There will be 20 bartenders from “the most influential Parisian arthouse bars” shaking and stirring a wide selection of cocktails behind the 40-metre-long Infinite Bar.

Each bartender will be creating a mixture of classic cocktails and putting their own twists on original recipes – including the use of homemade ingredients.

Furthermore, the Be Spirits initiative will spread across Paris by night, with a map showing where products used behind the Infinite Bar will be put to the test in the real world.

Bars taking part in the Infinite Bar are: Le 1802, Le 1905, Apicus, Café Moderne, Castor Club, Dirty Dick, Dirty Lemon, Fitzgerald, Frequence, House Garden, ISTR, Jefrey’s, Le Comptoir des Fables, Les Ambassadeurs (Hôtel de Crillon), Manko, Officine du Louvre (Hôtel du Louvre), Roco (Les Bains Paris), Sape Bar, Shake N’ Smash, and Solera.

For more details about the upcoming Vinexpo Paris show, and a list of key spirits brands to look out for, see the February 2020 issue of The Spirits Business magazine, out soon.

Last month, Vinexpo CEO Rodolphe Lameyse revealed plans to launch a “spin-off” spirits show in 2021 should Be Spirits prove to be a success.
