Porter’s Gin secures US distribution
Scottish gin brand Porter’s has launched in the US on- and off-trade after signing a distribution deal with importer Domaine Select Wine & Spirits.
Domaine Select Wine & Spirits will launch Porter’s Modern Classic and Tropical Old Tom gins in the US
The brand’s US launch marks the 11th international market for Porter’s Gin, which is already listed in territories including Singapore, China and France.
Ben Iravani, co-founder of Porter’s Gin, said: “This is a significant and exciting step in the growth of our company. The US is an important global market that we’ve been working towards for a very long time.
“We’re looking forward to growing our business here with some of the world’s leading cocktail bars and bartenders. We’re really pleased to be working with Domaine Select and are hopeful that this is the start of a successful long-term partnership.”
The Langstane Liquor Company, which produces Porter’s Gin, was founded by Iravani alongside Josh Rennie and Mr Lyan Group’s Alex Lawrence.
New York-based Domaine Select Wine & Spirits will list Porter’s Modern Classic and Tropical Old Tom gins.
Hill Flynn, president at Domaine Select Wine & Spirits, added: “We’re enthusiastic about the launch of Porter’s Gin. It provides an exciting and unique selection to our portfolio and it represents another important step in the growth of Domaine Select Wine & Spirits.
“The Porter’s Gin products are truly a pair of game-changing entries in the category. We look forward to a strong partnership with Ben, Josh and Alex.”
Last year, The Langstane Liquor Company expanded its portfolio with the launch of a blended malt Scotch whisky specifically for mixing in Highballs.
