Cutty Sark signs new distributor in Germany
By Melita KielyMBG Group has signed an agreement with La Martiniquaise-Bardinet to distribute the French firm’s Cutty Sark blended Scotch whisky brand in Germany.
MBG Group will distribute Cutty Sark in GermanyThe distribution deal came into effect from January 2020.
Cutty Sark blended Scotch was launched in 1923 and was acquired by La Martiniquaise-Bardinet in 2018. It was previously owned by Edrington.
The whisky blending process for Cutty Sark includes a 21-day marrying process.
