Vinexpo New York names advisory board

Vinexpo New York has created an advisory board ahead of its 2020 event to “maximise the show’s value in North America”.

The New York event has appointed 11 US-based wine and spirits industry leaders to the advisory board, including past exhibitors and attendees of Vinexpo New York.

The inaugural members of the Vinexpo New York advisory board include John Beaudette, president and founder of importer MHW; Cheryl Murphy Durzy, CEO of alcohol technology company Libdib; Valerie Gerard-Masuura, VP operations for Sopexa USA; and Monique Huston, vice president for wholesale spirits at Winebow.

Board members also include Helen Mackey, vice president of enterprise beverage strategy and innovation for Darden Restaurants; Vela McClam Mitchell Thomas, CEO of Lemae Group Wines; Steve Melchiskey, managing member of USA Wine West; and Brandy Rand, chief operating officer of the Americas for IWSR Drinks Market Analysis.

Finally, Vinexpo New York has also appointed Brian Rosen, president of Bevstrat; Manilay Saito, senior manager North America – wine, beer and spirits for Business France; and Aaron Sherman, CEO of Sevenfifty.

The Vinexpo New York advisory board brings together more than 240 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry. The board will contribute to the planning and growth of the show.

Vinexpo New York returns to Jacob K Javits Convention Center on 2-3 March 2020.
