A new team has taken over from Duty Free Global, which has managed the brand since its launch in travel retail five years ago.

In Asia Pacific, Art Hyndman has joined the vodka brand as duty free manager, having previously held positions with Patrón Tequila and Beam Suntory.

The brand’s European travel retail presence will now be led by European regional manager, Luca Cardillo.

In the Gulf, the duty free business is now managed from Dubai by Focus Brands, and the vodka maker’s Dufry and DFS accounts will now be managed by WEBB Banks.

Tito’s managing director international, John McDonnell, said: “Tito’s is at an important point in its global expansion and duty free is central to our long term success.

“This new local approach and extended team will bring us closer to customers, improve response times, intensify our progress and most importantly secure a significant share of the vodka market. I’d like to thank Duty Free Global for their work over the past five years.”

Earlier this year, the Texas-made vodka brand “significantly” expanded its presence in European travel retail as part of its deal with duty free operator Dufry.
