Royal Salute unveils TR activation in South Korea

Pernod Ricard-owned blended Scotch brand Royal Salute has created a series of activations in South Korea’s Incheon Airport to celebrate the redesign of its 21-year-old whisky.

The brand invited South Korean ‘influencers’ to an area dedicated to Royal Salute 21 Year Old Signature Blend, featuring an in-store photo booth that showcases the new design from illustrator Kristjana S Williams.

The design “brings to life” the brand’s royal heritage with a “contemporary” drawing of the British Royal Menagerie.

The new look is supported by a photo filter customising service across digital channels. Consumers can apply filters to their photos, featuring elements from the new design, which can be shared across social media.

In addition, Royal Salute added two new whiskies to its 21 Year Old range – The Malts Blend and The Lost Blend. Both expressions are priced at US$135 per 700ml.

The Royal Salute Malts Blend is available from select luxury whisky retailers globally. The Lost Blend is now available exclusively in duty free stores around the world.
